The 72nd Senior National Basketball Championship has tipped off today at Udaipur, Rajasthan. This edition is conducted by Rajasthan Basketball Association and will be played from 27th November to 4th December with 16 Men's teams and 15 Women's teams competing for the championship.

Men's Groups

The first round of the championship will see the teams play against the other teams in their groups. Following this, the top 2 teams from groups A & B will be placed in Group E, and the top 2 teams from groups C & D will be placed in group F. The remaining teams from groups A & B and C & D will be placed in groups G and H respectively. After two rounds, the teams will enter the knockout stage.
The 71st Senior National Basketball Championship was held earlier this year in April at Chennai, with Tamil Nadu (men) and Indian Railways (women) coming out on top.
